Getting started with ZubeHost

If you're new to ZubeHost, here are some videos to show you how we created our Public Domain Comedy site.

Setting Up a Brand New Site

These video tutorials will walk you through the process of setting up your first site. Watch and follow the videos in order, and by the time you're done, you'll have a fully functioning tube video site.

1. 1 Create webmaster account and web site

   Here, I show you how to register for a Zube Host webmaster account, and how to define your first site.

2. 2 Activate account via email

   Before your sites can go live, you'll need to activate your account. In this tutorial, I'll show you how.

3. 3 Point DNS to ZubeHost nameservers

   Once you've aquired the domain name that you want to use for your site, you'll need to set it up to work with the Zube Host service. This tutorial deals with setting up the DNS to point to the Zube Host servers

4. 4 Bulk Upload videos

   For webmasters with lots of content to upload, there's a bulk video upload tool to make your life easier. Here, I demonstrate how simple it is to use.

5. 5 Edit video settings

   Once you've uploaded your videos, you'll need to provide some information for each before they can show on your site(s). This tutorial shows what info is required, and how to enter it.

Once those steps have been done you will have some videos on the site.

After taking these steps I uploaded more movies.  That's what you will spend most of your time doing - we automatically do just about everything else your site needs!

Basic Customization

Once you have the basic site set up, it's time to get your hands dirty, and start making it your own. From custom pages and color schemes to earning with the Zube Host ad sharing program, these useful tutorials will have you up and running in no time.

1. 1 Set up basic advertising

   Start earning via on-site advertising. Learn how to set up the various advertising zones on your site.

2. 2 Tweak your sites color scheme

   With Zube Host, you can specify many of the colors in use on your site. This tutorial will show you where and how to define your custom scheme.

3. 3 Create custom site documents

   You'll likely have various content pages that you'd like to feature on your site. Here, I'll show you how to create custom site documents with the Zube Host WYSIWYG editor.

4. 4 Set up Google Analytics

   In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to integrate Google analytics within your site.
